Obituary
On September 8, 2021, Mr. Guy Paquette of St. Paul passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his 2 sons, Mitchell (Julie) & Brian (Denise); 4 grandchildren, Mallory (Chris) Dykstra, Jeremie, Hannah & Caleb; 4 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Cody, Trevor & Julia; brothers, Claude & Pierre; sister, Agnes. Mr. Paquette was predeceased by his wife, Rose; parents, Leon & Margret; brothers, Rosaire & Gilles. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant with inurnment in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Flat Lake. Cremation has taken place. I remember Jean Guy from his young days fresh from Quebec. He barely knew how to speak English at the time. A hard working, fun loving man. He had bought a farm/ acreage not far from where we lived. It sounds like he had a rich, rewarding life. You chose a great picture for his obit.
