Obituary
On September 8, 2021, Mr. Guy Paquette of St. Paul passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his 2 sons, Mitchell (Julie) & Brian (Denise); 4 grandchildren, Mallory (Chris) Dykstra, Jeremie, Hannah & Caleb; 4 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Cody, Trevor & Julia; brothers, Claude & Pierre; sister, Agnes. Mr. Paquette was predeceased by his wife, Rose; parents, Leon & Margret; brothers, Rosaire & Gilles. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant with inurnment in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Flat Lake. Cremation has taken place. Mitchell, Brian and families… I am so sad to hear of Uncle Guy’s passing. He was always so kind and I have fond memories of his smile and his laugh. I met Guy when he pastured cattle at our place north of Mallaig. I found him to be intelligent and a very caring man towards his wife Rose and even towards his cattle. I respected and admired him. The world is a lesser place with the loss of him and Rose. My husband and I enjoyed our friendship.
