Obituary
On January 16, 2025, Trudy Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 43 years. She is survived by her children, Kiyana, Shatan, Xondra, Xavier, Kaiden, Johnny, Tacoah & Aadison; mother, Doreen; siblings, Charmaine (Gary), Christine (Richard), Valerie (Perry), Bella (Maynard) & Dennis (Shannon); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Trudy was predeceased by her father, Dennis Delver; brother, Curtis Whiskeyjack; nephews, Waylon Jackson & Freespirit Stanley-Dedul; maternal grandparents, Morris & Agnes Cardinal; paternal grandparents, Solomon & Katherine Delver. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Friday, January 23 & 24 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
