On May 13, 2024 Mr. Herman Oscar Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Marguerite; 6 daughters, Janice (Trevor), Beverly, Nadine Kerr, Wendy Clarke, Rina (Cory) Saar & Jessica (Rick) Bolen; honorary daughters, Jeanine & Leslie; 15 grandchildren, Raven, Cy, Cole, Alva, Gabriel, Priscilla, Caleb, Shale, Colby, Taylor, Dane, Jamie, Bradley, Allayna & Kyrstin; 3 great-grandchildren, Nuna, Elaina & Jeremy; siblings, Dorothy Visser, Francis (Elsie), Ivan, Virginia & Shirley; sister-in-law, Doreen; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Oscar was predeceased by parents, James & Martha; children, Corey & Jacqueline; grandson, Nicholas Kerr; siblings, Ben, Bella, Julie, Regina, Joan & Irene. A Wake will be held on Thursday, May 16 (leaving Grace Gardens at 12:00 p.m.) at Onchaminahos School Gym, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Onchaminahos School Gym, Saddle Lake. Pastor Mavis Giant will be officiating, with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
