Everytime I talked to Mryna she made my day brighter. She was always caring, sincere and genuine. Her leadership by example inspired us to be better. My condolences to Bill and the family.

From: Lori Zalewsky
Relation: We were colleagues at Portage College.

Over the many years during which Myrna headed up the ECD/EA/ELCC programs at Portage College, I had the opportunity to work with her and her students in the classroom and later online as an English instructor and, in the early years, also as a computer instructor. Myrna epitomized an irrefutable work ethic. Through her tireless efforts, she touched the lives of many students and colleagues. My condolences to Myrna’s family and close friends. Rest in peace, Myrna.

My heart broke when I heard about Myrna’s passing. Myrna was one of the most dedicated, prescient, and inspiring educators and friend to those of us who were fortunate enough to be in her sphere of influence. Although Myrna will be greatly missed, her vision to do the best we can in the name of learning, at all stages of life will continue to evolve, given the impact she had on individual students, colleagues, and policymakers here on earth.

From: Carole Pruden

Dear Bill. I was so sorry to hear of Myrna’s passing. A kinder more thoughtful person on this earth did not exist. My thoughts and prayers are with you
