Obituary
On November 15, 2023, Mr. Mitch (Michel) Chychul passed away peacefully at home at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; son, Aaron (Carey); 2 sisters, Bernadette MacMullin (Wayne Smith) & Jeannie (Rick) Kwasnycia; brother, Ken (Korrena); father-in-law, Gerry Gill; sisters-in-law, Deb Gill, Barb (Russell) Smereka, Heather Gill & Cherri (Ron) Delmage; brother-in-law, John Gill; numerous nieces, nephews & many friends. Mitch was predeceased by his son, Shane; mother, Elize; father, Nick. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Mitch would stop at the shop in Myrnam many times when Barry and I were working on trucks. He would always come with something in hand from his garden to pass along! One time he noticed I was struggling to take the lids off of the empty 5 gallon pails. He returned the next day with a hand carved wooden handle with a metal hook attached to pry off the lids! It worked great and I still have it – just in case I might need it again! Mitch had a generous heart and I know leaves a void in the lives of many especially for you, Pat and Aaron. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope special memories will ease your loss.
