I don’t think I ever saw your mom without a smile. I will fondly remember her visits to our house to have coffee with mom. I was the annoying niece sitting at the table listening to their conversation. She was a good story teller, and had a great sense of humour. Very generous, kind, loving and a lot of fun. Aunty Irene, you will be missed.

Guy, Real (Pauline), Denise (Ray), Diane (Tracy), & family, Our sincere condolences go out to you at this most difficult time. Irene had a very special way about her, and things were never dull when she was around. I’ll miss her saying “come for coffee” and “I asked you first”. Hello Guy, Denise, Dianne and Real. ( all the kids too). I want to send my condolences for your loss of Irene. I feel so much for your loss and grieve with you also. I have been praying that she would get better through this difficult time and know she has not been well. I am very thankful that I was able to visit with her last summer- my mom and I sat and had tea with her. It was amazing to see her and I loved being back in her kitchen. I remember how she was so welcoming to me when we were Young Denise. I am truly thankful for her when I was growing up. She leaves some big empty shoes but heaven is now blessed to have her. She is over you. Caring for you all. Even more than she did before. Hugs to you. And lots of love from Rachelle, Serge , Jackie ( and Vic too).

I had the pleasure of spending July of 1965 out on the farm with Irene and all of her family in Legal. We had so much fun cooking up a storm for all the siblings hearty appetites! There was always someone to feed. Later in life Irene and I continued to share recipies and baking afternoons. That still remains some of my favorite memories along with that wonderful phone call that my blood sausage was ready for pick up. I will sure miss you. Enjoy your heavenly home. RIP
