Diane was a Registered Nurse for 48 years, most of her career spent at the Our Lady’s Hospital in Vilna, AB. Diane had many hobbies, they included, sewing, gardening, crocheting/knitting & travelling around the world with family. She loved spending time with her grandkids, and there wasn’t a dance recital, 4-H show or Archery that she wouldn’t attend. Diane’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at the George McDougall Health Centre, Dr. Henrik Lourens, as well as the Smoky Lake Home Care team for their excellent care & compassion shown towards mom. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Mrs. Kozak’s Life will take place at a later date. Dear Family of Diane Kozak
I am so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Diane and I worked together for many, many years as co-workers at Our Lady’s Hospital in Vilna until it closed. But our friendship was strong. The 25 years plus of making cabbage rolls (because you didn’t like rolling the sour leaves) for Easter and Christmas. The many short trips to craft shows, planning our “old staff” reunions and just conversations and laughs on the phone. You will be missed my dear, dear friend but never forgotten.

Deepest Sympathies to you Ray and to the rest of your family. Diane was a great neighbor, good friend and wonderful, caring person. Marjorie (Gates) Bauer
