On April 26, 2024 Cheperyn Todd Percy Ronald Berland of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 24 years. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Cardinal; step-father, Leon Moosewah; raised by, Anna Hunter & Nathan Bull; siblings, Harley, Raven, Dominic, Tayla, Tamara, Tia (Preston Sparklingeyes); siblings he was raised with, Monica Houle, Desiree Hunter, Cody Hunter, Michael Houle, Michelle (Joey) Cardinal, Kalani Hunter, Joseph Hunter-Houle, Sean Bull, Patrick Houle, Alexander Moses, Brooklyn Hunter & Juliette Bull; maternal grandmother, Mary G. Cardinal; special kokoms, Cindy McGilvery, Charlene (Jules) Houle White & Lorna Redcrow; special niece, Aleena Sparklingeyes; grandparents, Angeline & William Berland, Greg Hunter; uncles, Jeff, Lenny, Henry, Charles, Craig, Lance, Albert, Dwight, Junior William; auntie, Tanya Cardinal. Chepyren was predeceased by his father, Conrad Berland; brother, Alex Dale Cardinal; aunties, Aleda Cardinal & Nicole Berland; uncle, Clinton Cardinal; special mom, Donna Houle; cousins, Janelle Steinhauer & Shanice Houle. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Sunday, May 4 & 5 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
