Obituary

On December 17, 2023, Mr. Charles Wood of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary; 2 daughters & 1 son, Natalie, Wayne (Joline) & Sabrina; adopted son, Chris (Loran Cardinal-Wood); 9 grandchildren, Terrence, Jeremy, Barry Jr., Jason, Darcy, Vinson, Robyn-Lee, Mikayla & Madison; 6 great-grandchildren, Janessa, Jeren, Taylor, Kace, Mila & Luna; numerous relatives & friends. Mr. Wood was predeceased by his parents, Louis & Emma Wood; paternal grandparents Miscihk & Wapoos; maternal grandparents, Wipemes & Wāpāsēs; sons, Barry, D’Arcy & Jason; siblings, Elizabeth Cardinal, Alex, Norman & Jerome Wood; grandson, Justin (Dustin) Wood; chapan, Phoenix Stone. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Thursday, December 20 & 21 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
