Obituary
On September 6, 2021, Mr. Bernard “Bernie” Lavoie of St. Paul passed away at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Benoit & Cecile (nee Bisson); sister, Lucie (Dan Gates); niece, Lisa Steinhauer; nephew, Jeff Steinhauer; great-niece & -nephew, Ella & Ethan Gamache. Bernie was predeceased by his brother, Marcel in 1992; maternal grandparents, Louis & Jeanne D’arc (nee Guay) Bisson; paternal grandparents, Alphonse & Laurette (nee Desaulniers). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626-51 Street, St. Paul, Alberta T0A 3A1.
