Alphonse was a kind and welcoming man. My sincere condolences go out to his family for the loss of such an incredible man. When I first moved to St. Paul and began working at Racette, Alphonse made me feel like I belonged. I enjoyed our chats and looked forward to his friendly smile each day. After his retirement, he came every year to help with our pancake breakfast on Shrove Tuesday. He will be greatly missed.
