Obituary
On February 7, 2025 Mr. William “Bill” Charles Garnier of St. Paul, Alberta passed away peacefully at home at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley; daughter, Christine (Vladimiro Maletta); sons, Curtis (Minh), Elliott (Nicholas Hertz) & Keith; 2 grandchildren, Jaiden & Mischa; nonno to Luca Maletta; sisters, Ellen Cartier & Dorothy Christensen (Ken Salter); brother, Wilfred; in-laws, Russell & Pat MacPherson and Pauline MacPherson; numerous loving nieces, nephews & close friends. Mr. Garnier was predeceased by his parents, Harry & Josephine; sisters, Hazel, Ethel Feheley, Catherine Barber & Debra Kitt; nephew, Justin Gadowski; in-laws, Lloyd Cartier, John Christensen, Gerald Feheley, Winnie & Angus MacPherson, Ron MacPherson, Roger & Shirley MacPherson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul with Reverend Father Emmanuel Umeohanna as the celebrant. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in St. Bridget Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Brides, at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Abdulsalam & the Clinic Staff, as well as the St. Paul Homecare & Palliative care nurses for their care & support in Bill’s final days.
