Obituary

On December 14, 2023, Taylor Jones of Edmonton, formerly St Paul, passed away at the age of 30 years. He is survived by his 3 children, Alayna, Bailey & Michael; grandparents, Marg & Guy Laberge; his children’s grandparents, Chris & Tammy Taylor; uncle, Trent & his daughter, Ava; Auntie Sheila; sister-in-law, Justice; numerous friends and coworkers including his best friend from early childrenhood, Iain. Taylor was predeceased by his mom, Bobbi (Roberta) Jones; & great-grandparents, Merton & Vera Willard. Taylor was diagnosed in February 2023 with Type 1 Diabetes. He struggled with his blood sugars and a small lump under his arm that became infected and then septic in December, a fungus that he was not able to survive. Taylor passed 2 days after the Life Support was removed. Recochem Staff has started a GoFundMe for funeral expenses and the raising of his children. A Celebration of Taylor’s Life will be held on Friday, January 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion, 4925 – 49 Avenue, St. Paul. Cremation has taken place, with inurnment at a later date.
