On August 16, 2024, Jesse Large of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 25 years. He is survived by his mother, Joanna Large; siblings, Tyler Large, Cage-Ja Large (Sage), Jayden Large-Castor, Kaden Squirrel, Kayla Squirrel, Kaiya Stelter, Hennessy Wood & Skya Wood; aunts, Marilyn Cardinal, Crystal Large & Trina Large (Vince); uncles, Steven Cardinal & Ryan Large; nieces, Alena & Lyrica Adams; paternal grandfather, Andrew Castor; numerous cousins & relatives. Jesse was predeceased by his father, Darrell Castor; sister, Shakira Large-Squirrel; maternal grandparents, Lawrence & Verna Large; uncles, Tyler & Emery Large; aunty, Lorna Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Sunday, August 25 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
