Obituary

On May 22, 2024 Mrs. Helen Mathiot of Goodridge, Alberta, passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her daughter, Brigitte (Bill) Sakaluk; 4 sons, Patrick (Pauline), Gerald (Cecile), Claude (Elizabeth) & Jack (Patricia); 13 grandchildren, Jason Sakaluk, Pamela (Andy) Skoreyko, Ashley, Marc (Kalli), Denis (Shayla), Monica (Colin MacMillian), Jenna, Mikayla, Caitlyn, Suzanne, Jessica (Steve DeRoo), Amanda (Dale Runzer), Tyler (Kaylee Vandenberg); 8 great-grandchildren, Cheyanne & Mason Sakaluk, Reid, Eli & Camryn Skoreyko, Kenzie & Ivan Mathiot, & Arlo DeRoo; special nephew, Norman Worthington; & numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Mathiot was predeceased by her husband, Jean; parents, Joseph & Charlotte Arbaney; sister, Odette “Audrey” Worthington; & brother-in-law, Fay Worthington. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodridge Jubilee Hall, Goodridge with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place.
