On April 25, 2024 Brenda Anderson of Fishing Lake Metis Settlement passed away at the age of 57 years. She is survived by her children, her daughter, Tammy Gladue (Amanda), her sunny boy, Wayne Anderson Jr. (Sarah), her baby, Kendall Anderson, Alyssa Badger (Jordan), Heather Belle (Keith) & children Emma & Karma, & Nicole Durocher & children Autumn, Ryder & Avery; her grandbebes, Niara, Mylee, Memphis, Olivia & Remmy; mother, Flora Gladue; partner, Russell Collins; best friends, Wayne Anderson Sr. & Nerissa Abraham; siblings, Shirley Calliou, Lawrence (Rhonda) Gladue, Ann Fayant, Helen (Calvin) Flamand, Charles (Clarice) Gladue, adopted sisters, Dawn Deschamps & Marlene Collins; favorite cousins/brothers, Charles Gladue, Clayton Dion, Ryck Chalifoux, adopted sister, Michelle Flamand (Craig), adopted sister, Marie (Lorne) Dustow & Pearl Faithful; many beloved nieces & nephews, Tyler Gladue (Car) & children Parker & Sadie, Stephen Gladue (Shannon), Gregory Calliou & daughter Remara Stanley, Samantha Fayant (Derek Berard) & children Noah & Kelton, Faron Fayant, Theresa Flamand (Ryan) & children Alex, Daisy & Calvin, Brittany Flamand & daughter Harley, North Flamand, Brooks Flamand, Shaelynn Flamand, Haleigh Rain Flamand, Kentigern Flamand, Michelle Durocher, Wacey Durocher (Jaymee) & children Connor, Zoey, & Rowen, Lovell Gladue, Hunter Gladue; Godchildren, North Flamand, Savannah Durocher, Danielle Durocher, Nicole Laboucane, Levi Flamand, Craig Jackson, Tasha Lynn Anderson, Ryder Jess, Skylar Badger, James Durocher & many more. Brenda was predeceased by her father, Sylvester Gladue; sisters, Lorna Durocher & adopted sister, Joanne Durocher; nephew, Jason Flamand; dog, Pixie; cousin, Dennis Brosseau; best friend, Jason Rider. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, April 30 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Fishing Lake Communiplex, Fishing Lake Metis Settlement. Last Respects will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Fishing Lake Communiplex. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life to follow at 3:00 p.m. at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, Fishing Lake Metis Settlement. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating, with interment in Fishing Lake Community Cemetery.
