Obituary
On December 4, 2017, Mr. John Stanley of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Irene; 9 children, Donalda (Clem), Derrick (Trish), Darrell (Cyndie), Myrna (Guy), Jayden, Doug, Samantha, Colin (Melanie) & Duane; 14 grandchildren, Stacie, Jody, Brandy, Brandon, Erica, Bobby, Chayne, Alex, Sheena, Raven, Madison, Tanisha, Shylo & Hunter; 9 great-grandchildren, Leearin, Kemper, K’s, Aidan, Jorryn, Ella, Ensley,Bexson, Jeremiah & one on the way; siblings, Jerry, Lloyd (Ruby), Henry (Vivian), Ernest (Julien), George (Velma), Ruby (Tommy), Irene (Victor), Rema (Keith), Joe & Louie; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, J.B. (2005) & Agnes (1998) Stanley; daughter, Beverly (1971); brother, Tommy (1982); adopted brother, Lawson Collins (2012); best friend & brother-in-law, Donald Angus (1992). A Wake will be held on Sunday & Monday, December 10 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & 11 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Our family would like to give condolences to the Stanley family. John worked with my father many years ago when Ranger Oil had wells to look after. John will always be remembered for his strong work ethic and his dependable nature. My father passed away 2015 and would surely be wanting to say thank you for all the things John helped him with. Our hearts are with all of the Stanley family
