Obituary
On October 1, 2017, Mrs. Nancy Jane Garner of Ashmont passed away at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her 1 daughter & 5 sons, Evelyn (Ron) Kossey of Stony Plain, Denis (Joan), Raymond (Valerie), Leonard (Kathy), Daniel (Mary) all of Boyne Lake & Anthony (Charlene) of Leduc; 3 brothers & 1 sister, Pete (Emma) Bentley of Onoway, Richard (Eileen) Bentley of Sherwood Park, Bessie (Jim) Flack of Garner Lake & Norman (Carol) Bentley of Floating Stone Lake; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Sydney in 2006; daughter, Jane, grandson, Owen; great-grandson, Levi Sauers; parents, Guy & Rose (Clifton) Bentley; 4 brothers, Harry, Sam, Joe & Dave; 2 sisters, Jean & Maryanne. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 11:30 a.m. at Ashmont Agri-plex, Ashmont with visitation one hour prior to service. Reverend Christopher Cook will be officiating, with interment in Ashmont Community Cemetery, Ashmont. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
