On March 29, 2023, Miss Charmaine “Charms” Adams of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 40 years. She is survived by 2 daughters & 2 sons, April Shirt, Antonio Shirt, Cassius Shirt Jr. & Shalayna Shirt; grandchild, Alijah Lalonde Shirt; mother, Delia Cardinal; father of her children, Cassius Shirt Sr.; 3 sisters, Crystal Adams, Teena Adams & Naomi Hunter; 3 BC nieces, Alissa, Melodie & Selena; 2 BC nephews, Domonic & Rylie; Cardinal Family, Shirt Family & White Family. Charmaine was predeceased by her brother, Terrance Adams; uncle/Dad, Louie B.; kokum, Mary Ida Cardinal; grandfather, Joe Cardinal; uncles, Michael Cardinal & Gerald Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, April 19 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Awe, My little Charmy Pebbles. My beautiful Rockstar, i miss you and i love you. I will always love you. Maybe we’ll meet again one day somewhere else. Thanks for visiting me as a little ghost. I will hold on to you as long as i can. You were the best person in the whole world everytime you would show up at my place and yell up to my window “Charles, Open the door” Always Lovely and thoughtful. I loved you for who you were completely imperfections and all. We had Amazing times together on the road and in the church. We still managed even through homelessness winters and you made so much progress learning new things with me. Rest good honey and stay with me. Awe, i love you sweety.
